Having run the Mobile & Video in Recruitment Conference for the last two years we are pleased to announce that  for 2012 we will be running  a brand new conference. The Mobile Recruitment Conference will  focus totally on the fast growing area of mobile recruiting.

When I launched the first Social Media in Recruitment Conference back in July 2009 “Mobile” was still very much in its infancy in terms of recruitment.

The iPhone had only been around for two years (it launched on the 29th June 2007) and the iPad didn’t even exist (it was only launched on the 3rd April 2010). Today, there are more 700,000 active apps available for the iPhone and more than 50 million iPads were sold in the first 2 years.

With sales of Smartphones and Tablet devices still accelerating, more and more people are expecting to do everything on their mobile device as they would on their desktop and laptop. And that of course includes an increasing trend to search and apply for a job.

Conference Programme

The Conference programme will feature a quality line-up of speakers with case studies and plenty of time for questions. Some of the subject areas to be covered on the day will include:

•    Putting Mobile First – Planning a Mobile Recruitment Strategy
•    Mobile Recruiting Case Studies
•    Using QR (Quick Response) Codes and Location Based Services in Recruitment
•    Creative use of Mobile Marketing in Recruitment
•    Latest Mobile Trends and Future Insights
•    Creating Mobile Videos for Recruitment
•    Mobile Recruitment Discussion Panel

If you are looking into mobile recruitment then by attending you will learn the impact that mobile is currently having in recruitment, how it will develop in the future and how you can start to implement mobile strategies to gain an advantage in your own company. Plus, you will see how mobile is currently being used in recruiting through the various case studies.
